Stonebwoy names the artiste whose shine in 2017 really surprised him

The year 2017 birthed new talents for the Ghanaian music industry and one of such people is Agona Swedru-based artiste Patapaa.

The singer’s hit single, One Corner gave him a shine he never imagined. Whilst many enjoyed the tune with its accompanying dance craze, others talked hugely against both.

The One Corner tune was so huge that many foreigners joined the mania. Patapaa was not the only new act in 2017 who had a hit song but dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has named him as a new act whose shine really shocked him.

Speaking on Adom FM’s drivetime show with Jerry Justice and monitored by Zionfelix.net, the Zylofon Media signed act stated that “from nowhere the guy came to take over the airwaves and he was everywhere”.

Patapaa reacting to Stonebwoy‘s comment on the same show was happy with the statement and thanked the BET award-winner for the support. He disclosed that the ‘Go Higher’ hitmaker was one of the few celebrities who shot a video of themselves dancing to his tune before it went viral.
