Burniton Music Group Manager, Sidi Mohammed (Blakk Cedi) has announced a next major concert for Stonebwoy this May, in Gambia with celebrated Jamaican Dancehall Singjay, MAVADO.
The Independence Stadium in Bakau, Gambia will be lit on Saturday May 13 with GullyGod (Mavado) and StoneGod (Stonebwoy) from Ghana. Other artistes billed for the night are Shifta, Rockey Jeezy, Acamus and Deft.
Stonebwoy, apart from releasing smashing hits this year has been very busy playing a lot of major concerts. He played Villaverde in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on April 22nd and over the weekend (April 29) played another at the Virginia Commonwealth University (African Students Union).
His latest jam “Come From Far” had a massive patronage from the audience in Ethiopia and Virginia while he performed it. His other singles “Enku Lenu”, “One Thing” (ft. Damaris) and “Migraine” all released this year have crept into over hundreds of thousands views on his Youtube Channel for the official videos.
With 2 enviable awards copped this year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs), Stonebwoy is poised to hit a debut Grammy nomination with an upcoming album “Epistles Of Mama” (EOM) due for an official release later this year.
After his USA concert over the weekend, he is due back in Jamaica for some other jobs with Fay-Ann Lyons, Tony Kelly, Khalia, Mr. G and others which includes studio works and shooting some new music videos.
