Stonebwoy reacts to claims of snubbing the media

Afro/dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has sought to clarify perceptions that he is not opened to media interactions.

According to him, being out of the media space is not deliberate although some media personnel conclude he is becoming arrogant after tasting stardom.

The Bhim Nation President in an interview with NYDJ on ‘Behind the Move’ said he is mostly not heard granting interviews because the requests sometimes come at a point where it conflicts with his plans.

He has therefore called for communication and understanding between the media and his camp so as to uphold the relationship that has existed.

“It’s the understanding and sometimes the communication. Sometimes they reach out to you but the timing is not good. As an artiste, you would want to get things in order before you start moving. The media will feel snubbed and say that’s how artistes behave when they become stars but that is not the case. That’s why so long as it gets to me, you must hear from me,” he said.
