Musician Stonebwoy kick-starts 2020 with a new classic highlife jam, titled “Sobolo”.
“Sobolo” is a popular Ghanaian drink made from rosella leaves and can be enjoyed at any time, and seems to be the perfect title for Stonebwoy’s latest.
Why? Because it can be enjoyed at any time of the day.
This time, Stonebwoy enrols his Bhim Band in his royalty cheque.
The mid-tempo song, which comes as a surprise – because it isn’t his comfort zone – is a love song and a contemporary rendition of late highlife legend Dr Paa Bobo’s nationwide hit, “Osobro Kyee”.
It’s a live composition produced by BHIM Band and, mixed and mastered by seasoned Ghanaian record producer Kaywa.
The song is accompanied by a live recording visual directed by Babs Direction.
