The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of slip entertainment, Mark Okraku Mantey has hinted that Reggie Rockstone’s deal as an ambassador with telecommunication company GLO gave him a lot of influence.

Speaking on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz (showbiz review segment) with Black I, on a viral publication that Stonebwoy refused an eighty thousand dollar deal with Glo, Mark said Stonebwoy should reconsider his decision adding, Reggie made a smart choice by signing on to the Glo deal.

“The decision you make at a particular time is very important, successful people are successful because they took the right decision at the right time.

People have seen successful and have lost it because they took one wrong decision and have fallen.

“Reggie Rockstone took their money, invested the money and it gave him clout and power. After the launch of his (Reggie’s) pub he has become more powerful and it is because he has money now. He who has money has a say”.

He argued that some of the artistes who complain that signing to telecommunication companies as ambassadors does not get them gigs on other platforms should check their songs rather than see the teleco deal as a bad deal.

Entertainment critic, Sally Mann disagreed with Mark.

She believes that Stonebwoy with his pedigree could make more than what Glo intends to give him.

“If Stonebwoy and his management feel like this deal is not good for them, we cannot fault them. Maybe they have a bigger deal in the pipeline. He doesn’t want to be tied to any deal that will limit him”.

Another critic Prince Tsegah advised Stonebwoy to take advantage of the contracts if its details will not limit him.

“If the contract is short term and Stonebwoy has refused to sign it, then he has thrown good money away because you would not get that easily in this economy”.
