Self acclaimed highlife Priest, Dada Hafco has asked Ghanaian pastors to support gospel musicians as that will be of a greater gain than living sophisticated lives.
The musician, who is a regular panelist on Zylofon 102.1 FM´s popular radio program, Showbiz Agenda has also advised established churches in the country to start gospel record labels.
He emphasized that, this agenda will go a long way to thrust the struggling gospel industry in Ghana.
The “Yebewu Nti” hit maker, through this submission have joined the likes of gospel music duo, Trinity Cross, musician Akesse Brempong and several others who are seeking the backing from churches for the genre.
He called these men of God out for their lavish lifestyles and asked that they directed these “wasted funds” to talents within their church.
Hafco also adviced Pastors to explore the business aspects of gospel music, as it enriches them to win more souls for their ministries.
“If most of these pastors could invest in gospel music, they could easily propagate the word of God through music:, he said.
