NDC Deputy Communications Director, Fred Agbenyo has asked the Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko to stop making commentaries on the country's energy crises and fix the situation.
Speaking on Peace FM's Kokrokoo, Fred Agbenyo noted that the assurances and timelines given by the Sector Minister may ensnare him.
According to him, the nation has confidence in him to resolve the challenges.
“Somebody should advise him to stop the long talk . . . We have confidence in you, Hon. Minister. Relax and work. The timelines you’ve started giving won’t help you," he said on Kokrokoo.
He explained that Ghanaians voted for the government to solve the energy issues and all they expect is regular electricity supply, not excuses.
Mr. Agbenyo further alluded to the Mahama administration, claiming the previous government revived the sector by ensuring adequate power supply to communities before exiting office.
To him, the previous government cannot be blamed for the recent power cuts in the nation due to the measures it put in place to curtail the situation.
