A Nigerian man of God, pastor George Bruno of the King of Kings International Church, has strongly advised older men to stop pursuing relationships with young girls.

According to Pastor Bruno, many young women enter relationships with older men not out of love, but out of necessity.

During a discussion on Accra-based TV3’s program, ‘Confessions', he added that these young women often seek financial support for their education, accommodation, clothing, and other needs.

He emphasised that these relationships are transactional rather than romantic.

“Men that go after young girls out there should stop it. These days, people are looking for helpers, not lovers. The girl in question went for the man because she wants someone to pay her fees, pay for her accommodation, buy her clothing, and buy her data to subscribe to YouTube.

So, when this man was investing in you, you did not calculate that this one is an old man. When the man was renting for you, you did not calculate that he’s an old man."

Pastor Bruno used this example to caution older men about the true nature of such relationships.

"He bought a car for you, and you did not know that this man is an old man. Every week allowance, thousand five, which company pays that? So now you know that the man is an old man, you’ll marry him. Sir, anywhere you are, come to my church, I’ll marry the lady for you by force. She deserves to be married to you.

...She has enjoyed your wealth, so now she has to render, continue to enjoy the money and continue doing what you are doing for the man. So come and make it legal in the house of God by doing a wedding,” he stated.

He urged them to be wary and understand that these young women often look for helpers, not lovers.

Pastor Bruno's advice is a call for older men to reconsider their actions and to recognize the potential harm in pursuing these relationships.

He stressed the importance of understanding the motivations behind these young women's actions and encouraged a more responsible and respectful approach to relationships.
