Gambian Ghana-based socialite, Princess Shyngle has warned individuals who force themselves on others because they don’t want to be alone to stop it, as such relationships don’t last.

Sharing her thoughts on how to enjoy and maintain a lasting relationship, she observed that love cannot be rushed.

Though the slay queen admitted that true love could take “forever to find”, she cautioned against a hasty approach.

“People are in such a rush to fall in love. We base our relationship on a physical connection rather than an emotional one. We force ourselves to like someone so we won’t be alone.

“We settle for those that don’t quite satisfy our wants and needs. Stop looking for love, let it find you. The best things in life are worth waiting for and love is definitely one of them,” she said in a post on her Instagram page.

She encouraged individuals to start by appreciating themselves first and patiently wait for love to find them.

“Learn to love yourself so that you don’t feel like you need to be loved by someone else in order to feel complete,” she added.
