Musician cum comedian David Oscar has thrown another shade at dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale.
David Oscar, who has become a heavy critic of Shatta Wale and his fans noted that the latter, despite his mannerisms toward his archrival, Stonebwoy, wants to be like him.
Taking to his Facebook wall, he described Stonebwoy as everything Shatta Wale wants to be, stressing that the two are miles apart in terms of seniority with stagecraft.
“Stonebwoy is everything Shatta Wale wants to be… don’t be fooled by his overtures towards Stonebwoy… that’s just a hapless attempt to convince himself that they are on the same level.
They are not, can never be, and will never be. One sees nothing wrong with miming on stage, the other creates live avenues for bandsmen to jive and eat.
David Oscar further ridiculed Shatta Wale intimating that while Stonebwoy was in the habit of getting creative with bandsmen on stage during performances, his counterpart was rather big on miming; an act he claimed the former sees nothing wrong with.
He labelled him as ‘King of Miming’ and advised that “In 2020, if you are a king, then #SayNoToMiming and show us what we haven’t seen before.”
