Ashiaman-based Hip-Hop/Afro-Pop talent, Kwesi Slay is urging his colleague artists to concentrate on making money with their craft instead of creating ‘beefs’ to survive in the industry.
The artist when asked about his comment on the ongoing 'beefs' among his colleague artists in an interview with MZDRU on LiveFM said, "I am more concerned about making more money than kmowing who is 'beefing' who in the industry".
Kwesi Slay who recently got his new song ‘Billionaire’ on Apple Music Hip-Pop playlist, explained that, instead of concentrating on beef, artistes should work hard on their craft to buy the cow to have an impact on the community.
Kwesi added that though the music industry here isn’t really paying like other countries, there are other streams of work to help pay most of the bills.
“Let’s make more money than more beefs”
Kwesi’s new single ‘Billionaire’ was inspired by DJ Khaled’s Snapchat story.
The song is released under his record label, Slay Music Group and was produced by Lyrical Beatz with the video shot in Dubai and directed by Yaw Skyface.
