Let’s Prove Event Organizers wrong by recording Hit Tracks, Strongman to Kumasi Artistes

Winner of GH-One Hip-hop Reality Show, “Next Big Thing In Gh Hiphop” Vincent Kweku Osei affectionately referred to as Strongman Mic burner has challenged Kumasi-based artistes to record hit-tracks that would leave Event organizers no choice than to have them on their shows especially when these events are held in Kumasi.

This he stated in an exclusive interview with Accra based, Prime Fm.

Quite recently, it was buzzing in the media circles a sense of tension between Accra-based event Firms and Kumasi-based artistes.

This happened after one of the members of Hip-life duo, Bradez, Flow-King Stone walked off stage in what bloggers described as a misunderstanding between the artiste and George Quaye who produced the said event.

Weeks later a track titled “Kumasi Boiz” was released and generated all the attention as many believe it was a rebuttal to the above happening.

However, Mic Burner discredited such reports when asked by Host of Showbiz Prime, Ekow Fletcher, insisting that the track was not inspired by the happening at that event and that they had recorded the track 5 months ago, but O.K was just waiting for Flow-king Stone & Cabum to record their bit after he had already recorded his verse with rap Doctor, Okyeame Kwame.

If any Kumasi artiste owns a hit song like “Ekiki mi”, events firms have no option than to put us on their shows. Even the biggest event house in Ghana would be happy to have Shatta Wale perform during the VGMA’s amidst of their relationship. Strongman is currently on tour promoting his new single “against” which features Luther.
