After two years of working together, music label SarkCess Music and rapper Strongman parted ways and fans were eager to know why the two best rappers in Ghana couldn’t work out or continue working together.
In a letter dated 14 April 2019, SarkCess music announced it has part ways with Strongman and labelled their experience as a priceless one. They expressed their appreciation to everyone who supported Strongman in various ways.
According to Strongman in an interview with Sammy Forson on the Cosmopolitan Mix on Joy FM, Thursday, he explained that SarkCess Music did everything they had to do for his music but it seems Ghanaians expectations were not met.
“Sark is very big and most of them were also thinking I am a good artist and so if the two of us are working together we should be able to give them something more. I don’t know,” he stated.
Strongman added that he believes the fans were expecting a whole lot “since we were not able to meet it them they are a bit disappointed but we tried our personal best.”
He further added that he and Sarkodie had no bad blood between them, “I was happy at the label. They did everything they had to for me.”
The label, owned by award-winning rapper Sarkodie, signed the young talent in March 2017 with the aim of helping marketing his enormous talent but that contract ended a few days ago.
