Anita tours Paris with Black Paris Tours
Anita went to check out Paris and hooked up with Ricki Stevenson, founder of Black Paris Tours, who took her on a trip around the city. She experienced Restaurant le Nioumre and its amazingly great atmosphere. The restaurant is just off the Chateau Rouge metro stop, an area which displays the face of French colonialism. She also got to check out the Champs Elysees, where the Harlem Hell fighters received a heroes’ welcome after World War 1. This was definitely one of Anita’s best experiences.
World –class Wine Estates (South Africa)
Lebo went on a South African wine estate tour recently and was breath taken by the beauty, elegance, grace, world-class cellars, beautiful décor, art and so much more associated with these world class wine estates. The journey started at Graham Beck Wine Estate, a luxury wine estate now entering its third generation as a family winery. Next on the list was Delaire, a stunning wine estate on the crest of the panoramic Helshoogte Mountain Pass near Stellenbosch. The Tokara wine estate also known for its uncomplicated architecture and design was last on the list. Lebo got to find out all about the art of wine-making, from harvesting, the latest wine making technology, art galleries and décor at wine estates to wine tasting.
Fashion Designer (Cameroon)
Grace caught up with Anna Ngann Yonn, a fashion designer from Cameroon, who after graduating from a Paris design school, went on to become a stylist and later decided to open an art studio / showroom specializing in tailor made clothing. Grace spoke to her about her clothing label KREYANN, which has a pure and simple style, with a special touch that makes every piece unique.
Art Exhibition (Nigeria)
Adaure attended an event aimed at highlighting the dangers associated with whipping children/corporal punishment, all in the name of correction and discipline. The initiative titled “Whip Not Child” will be running a series of workshops with children, parents and teachers on the topic.

Baseball Industriales team (Cuba)
Lebo got an opportunity to spend time with the Industriales Baseball Team in Havana, Cuba recently. The Industriales is a baseball team in the Cuban National Series and historically the most successful team in the National Series, the main domestic competition in post-revolutionary Cuban baseball.
