Popular music producer, entertainment critic and C.E.O of Drum line studio – Wei Y3 Oteng has called on the management of Kofi Kinaata to sue S.P Kofi Sarpong for performing Susuka at an event.
According to Wei Y3 Oteng, it is not professional to perform a fellow artist’s song at any event without first asking for permission from the artiste to perform the song. Speaking on the AM Pluzz show with Sammy Flex, the producer/Sound Engineer explained that it is unfair to perform another artiste song during a performance since that can deprives the one whose song is being performed of being billed for certain shows.
Not long ago, SP Kofi Sarpong performed Susuka at a gospel event and got chastised for it by a fellow gospel artiste called Naa Mercy.
Wei Y3 Oteng has condemned SP Kofi Sarpong act and asked that he be sued. “If any artiste performs your song a an event you would eventually want to be billed to perform in future, sue the artiste”, he said in wrapping up.
