Summer Camps are supervised programs for high school and college students conducted during the summer months in some countries.
The primary purpose of these camps is educational, athletics or cultural development as well as personal development skills such as facilitation and presentation skills.
DeGain in collaboration with Abba Foundation, this year; have organized a summer camp with aim of equipping the growing youth with skills he/she would need to shape their immediate environment and the world at large.
The Camp; GH Summer Camp 2017 is in its 7th year and with an amazing record of nurturing and equipping especially the youth of Ghana with amazing skills, this year’s edition must be a camp all parents must entreat all their wards to attend. With previous editions of the camp held at Central University College, the University of Cape Coast, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, the 7th edition would be held at Jubilee Hall, University of Ghana Legon.
With the theme for the camp “RECOVERING THROUGH SELF DEVELOPMENT”, campers would be taking part in Mentorship and Entrepreneurship classes, Team building and leadership sessions, and other fun and educational activities.
The camp would run from 6th August 2017 – 13th August 2017. The rate for the camp is GHc 150.00 which includes conference materials, food and accommodation and an educational/ heritage and industrial trip.
