Guru - Artiste
Currently MzVee, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy have been nominated in some categories for both BET and MTV MAAMA Awards 2015 and the fans and some sections of the music public have thrown their support behind them hoping they win the awards.
The Award-winning hitmaker, Guru, in an interview with Sammy Forson and Berla Mundi on Live FM Drive #Route919, called on his fans and every Ghanaian to vote for Sarkodie, MzVee, Stonebwoy, Fuse ODG in order for them to win the awards.
According to Guru; “Is not easy to get that far and get nominated so every well meaning Ghanaian and fans should vote to ensure our nominated artistes win the awards.”
He also added that; International awards are like the presidential position; today is someone’s turn, tomorrow it can be yours so we should all support now so others can help when is our turn because is not easy to get nominated.”
He also took to Twitter to campaign for his colleagues Twitting “Attention pple !!!! Yall vote @sarkodie n @stonebwoyb cos I wan my gh boys to take over this year BET or else #NyameBeTuaWoKa one by one”
