Tanzanian musician, songwriter and dancer, Rajab Abdul Kahli (Harmonise), has said ‘Africa Jamaica’, which is a collaboration among Morgan Heritage, Stonebwoy and Diamond, is the biggest song in Tanzania at the moment.
Morgan Heritage featured Ghanaian Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy and Tanzanian superstar Diamond in the ‘Africa Jamaica’ collabo released last year.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Ayekoo Ayekoo on Accra 100.5 FM on Thursday, 31 January 2019, the ‘Ayola’ hitmaker said: “It is hard to mention but at the moment, ‘African Jamaica’, Morgan Heritage featuring Stonebwoy and Diamond, is the biggest song in Tanzania”.
Asked which Ghanaian musician is popular in Tanzania, Harmonise said: “There are so many artistes here in Ghana who are bigger in Tanzania. We love Sarkodie, we love Shatta Wale and we love Stonebwoy”.
He also touted his own credentials, saying: “When you’re talking about Harmonise, it’s not just only Tanzania; you have to measure East Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi.”
Harmonise is currently in Ghana to shoot his music video which features Burna Boy, a Nigerian Afro-fusion singer and songwriter.
