Taxi driver dies shortly following accident

Breman Asikuma (C/R), May 19, GNA - A 32-year-old taxi driver, Obed Arthur, died shortly after he was admitted to the Breman Asikuma Catholic Hospital following an accident involving his vehicle on Wednesday.

Arthur, a native of Ajumako Biseasi, was found beneath a taxi with registration number AS 4259 R, which had run into ditch, few kilometres from Ajumako Kokoben at about 1800 hours in a torrential rain. He was pulled out of the vehicle in a critical condition.

Hospital sources indicated that the deceased was the only person found at the scene and was rushed to the hospital by sympathisers. In another interview, the father of the deceased, Mr. Robert Arthur said the deceased had informed him that somebody had hired him to Breman Asikuma.
