The Cake Fair thrills hundreds with Dessert fest

The second edition of the Cake Fair dubbed Nestle Ideal Dessert Fest over the weekend treated hundreds of dessert lovers at the Osu Oxford street mall.

The organizers, VoiceAds and Yellow October Events pulled off another successful event after its maiden edition of Ghana’s first ever Cake fair to hit the capital.

At the Nestle Ideal Dessert fest it was more than just cake to be shown off, there were all sorts of desserts from vegan brownies, to cheesecake cupcakes, mountains of ice cream and many more. 14 dessert chefs including two beverage vendors, showed off their specialties of baking and beyond.

About 1,500 patrons were there in their numbers sampling and buying throughout the event on Saturday, November 26.

The event was also graced by celebrities which included Sandra Ankobia, Yvonne Okoro, Farida Bedwei, Fiifi Folson, Kokui Serlomey and Dzifa Grey.

Unknown dessert chefs emerged receiving exposure and access to new clientele and four dessert chefs sold out of stock before hours before the event was over.
