It’s been a while since we brought you information on exceptional new talent.
TotalShowbiz is proud to present The Jetals to the world. The band is made up of three siblings whose love for soul searching music, coupled with their talent is making them a toast of many in Kumasi.
The Jetals sing, rap and play the guitar. Their music is influenced by their Christian faith and life’s virtues.
Abena Marfoah Sampong Sasu (6years old), Samuel Akurang Sampong sasu (9years old) and Abena Tenkorama Sasu (16years old) took to singing after their mother, Gifty Anang. Their mother’s voice is deemed as the finest by industry players in Kumasi even though she’s not ventured into commercial music yet.
The Jetals lost their father some time ago but have had the support of the legendary Agya Koo Nimo, Morris D’Voice, Prophet Emmanuel Amoah and their coach, George Spratz.
Aside singing and playing the guitar, they also compose their own music. Marfoah and Sammy also have the added ability of spewing quality rap lines. They combine rhymes to make meaningful statements.
The name Jetals came about when Marfoah approcahed Prophet Emmanuel Amoah give the band a name, a name that reflects God’s goodness.
Jetals means little effort will push us above all nations.
Marfoah and Sammy are currently schooling at the Solid Rock Educational Complex in Kumasi. Abena is also a student of the KNUST Senior High School.
