Saturday July 27th marks The One Show co-host, PY’s 35th birthday as well as a landmark - the successful completion of Season 1 of the PY SAYS SHOW Podcast; and the world famous Ciroc Vodka is celebrating with PY in style.
The night of the 27th is set up to honour PY’s pioneering spirit and allow peers and fans alike to celebrate an indigenous success story in the making.
It takes place at the new and ultra-modern Hot Gossip Night Club located on Osu behind Don’s Place.
The Podcast Launch and Birthday Celebration is set to attract notable music industry professionals as well as people from all walks of life who have one thing in common – integrity.
Having a personable yet enterprising nature, PY’s friends and associates are endeared to him and also possess demonstrated drive and ambition.
Hence the guest list will include senior executives from the business world, entrepreneurs and icons in sport, entertainment and the arts. The “A-list” guest list represents the gems who may have avoided the limelight but are respected in their fields as dynamic leaders and trend setters.
Papayaw Addo-Boateng is one of Ghana's most affable personalities on screen (”The One Show”) and in real life. Popularly known as PY, he is recognized for his contributions to the development of the Ghanaian music and entertainment industry, especially as far as the discovery of talent is concerned.
In true pioneering nature, PY is yet again setting a trend in the Ghanaian market in his capacity as Main Host for the “PY Says Show”, currently Ghana’s most prolific podcast.
Recently launched, the podcast reached thousands of users in its first week. To meet the demand, the producers, ChorkorHeights, have gone a step further to make it available on platforms such as Itunes and Podomatic.com.
The podcast has therefore successfully etched its name on the social media landscape locally and internationally as a fresh and innovative platform for sharing interests in music and entertainment.
The event will feature a red carpet event, a Ciroc sponsored open Bar and loads of entertainment all throughout the night.
For the general public, an event fee of GHS 50 per person will entitle individuals to free cocktails from 9pm until midnight, limited access to the Ciroc-Sponsored Open Bar as well as the opportunity to network and mingle with some of Ghana’s most dynamic personalities.
