It appears organisers of Bass Awards are ready for a showdown as it has billed the king of the north in the entertainment industry, Fancy Gadam to perform at the event slated for 25th December, same day the Rapperholic Concert would be held.

Organisers of ‘Rapperholic Concert’, herald by Sarkodie, at a press conference earlier emphasized that they own the day citing the outcome of previous shows as the basis.

Nabil Alhassan, a member of the A-Team Productions, co-producers of the ‘Rapperholic Concert’ indicated that the team was not worried about Bass Awards; Bullhaus Entertainment and Solid Multimedia, the predominantly dancehall/reggae event should be worried instead.

They stated that ‘Rapperholic Concert’ was not held two years ago and surprisingly, no event was organized on December 25 because organisers were scared they would have an empty auditorium.

The impact of Fancy Gadam

Fancy Gadam is a force to reckon with in Ghana’s entertainment industry, abrantepa.com can authoritatively say. At instances where people were skeptical about his ability to live up to expectation, he proved beyond reasonable doubt that he cannot be underestimated.

Fancy Gadam’s ‘All White Peace Concert’

The youngster on May 21, 2016 filled the Tamale Sports Stadium to capacity during the launch of his album, “Naawuni Yiko” literally meaning ‘God’s Grace’.

He set another record with his first ever concert in Accra when he filled the National Theatre on November 6, a feat difficult for a number of mainstream artistes.

Being billed to perform at the Bass Awards means organisers of the event would have no fears of low attendance since Fancy Gadam is a crowd-puller. A little publicity would result to a sold out event.

Can the King of the North cause an upset to the Rapperholic Concert on 25th December?
