Reverend minister cum fetish priest and Ghanaian born new sensational rapper Raymond Awuah Gyasi known in the showbiz industry as Lucifer Ranks has made some shocking revelations behind his locked hair, his stage name and why he married at a tender age.
Speaking in an interview with him on “Showbiz Agenda” on Zylofon FM 102.1, he told the host Samuel Atuobi Baah known as Sammy Flex that, he married at a young age of 20 because he didn’t want to fornicate.
According to him, he intends having 20 children because the more his children are, the lesser pressure he has on his head.
“Yeah, I married at a very younger age because I didn’t want to fornicate. By then, I was at the age of 20.. now, I’m 27 years with 3 children and I will have more. I intend having 20 children because the more children, the lesser pressure I have. I will like to teach my children what I want them to know so that when the grow up, they will do what I want them to know. You can really change and teach your child but you can’t teach a friend” he narrated.
Adding to this, he stated that he had his hair locked because he wanted to keep ladies and other eyes from him. According to him, he chose Lucifer as his name because he wanted to clarify the perception people have about the name being devilish.
“I got my hair locked because I got it through the Bible that Christ locked his hair. Sometimes when your hair is locked, it helps you a lot and it keeps ladies away from you. Many see those whose hairs are locked as wayward so it helps to keep all eyes from you” he added.
He further pointed out that he sometimes turns down offers of churches calling him to preach the gospel because he wouldn’t teach what the audience wishes to hear but he preaches what is written in the Bible.
According to him, there are many truths pastors hide from their congregation that he thinks the churches might not be happy with him when he reveals them. In addition to this, he stated that even though he smokes weed but he wouldn’t advice his congregation to smoke because it could make them go crazy.
“Yeah, I do smoke but I wouldn’t advice anybody to smoke. I will only advice my congregation not to stigmatize anyone who smokes but I wouldn’t advice them to smoke because it can make them go crazy” he further stressed out.
He noted that even though he is a minister who preaches from the Bible, he also pours libations.
He said: ”Yeah I’m a Reverend minister who preaches from the Bible and goes to church but i also pour libation. I am a Christian but also practice occultism sometime ago and that was Islam. When I say occultism, I mean Islam because Christians consider anything which is not inline with the Christian doctrine as occultic. The Holy Quran enlightened me more about the Bible."
