The secret behind the success of Amakye & Dede premiere – Kofas reveals

Kofi Asamoah, the brain behind Kofas Media has divulged what led to the success of the most talked about “Amakye & Dede” movie premiere which happened on Easter Saturday at the Accra Mall and West Hills Mall all in the nation’s capital. Owners of Silverbirds Cinemas in a phone conversation with Zionfelix.com after the premiere told us that the premiere of “Amakye & Dede” is the biggest ever in their history. They added that Kofas Media, producers of the movie broke their own record they set with Kalybos in China which was premiered in 2015.

Kofas known privately as Kofi Asamoah in a recent interview told DJ Premiere on Accra FM what led to the success of the Easter Saturday movie premiere. He attributed the success to God’s blessings.

“I think the first thing is diving favour because I don’t understand how that happened. Aside the prayers, we also worked hard towards it because if you look at the combination of the casts and content of the movie, it deserves the kind of audience it hard”

He concluded that “but ultimately, I would say its divine favour”.

Amakye & Dede produced by Kofas Media features renowned Ghanaian actors like Majid Michel, John Dumelo, Kalybos, AHuofe Patricia, Roselyn Ngissah, Emelia Brobbey, Yaw Dabo, Apostle John Prah, Grace Nortey, Moesha Boudang and many others. It is the second movie from the production house which is known for “Adventures Of Kalybos” short skits.

“Amakye & Dede” movie premieres across the country soon.

Budget for the comedy movie, according to the production house is estimated to be $26,000.
