Celestine Donkor is a gospel musician
Ghanaian gospel musician Celestine Donkor has expressed concern about what she describes as a lack of consistency among today’s youth.
Speaking in an interview on MX24 TV on February 24, 2026, the award-winning singer stated that many young people struggle to remain committed to their goals and ambitions.
“One thing I see about the young generation today is that we are not consistent. We are not consistent with the things we want to do,” she said.
According to her, many young people are quick to abandon skills, businesses, or trades shortly after starting them.

“Sometimes, you want to start a trade or learning a skill, but you’re already tired after a month. You will venture into another and quit. People are not stable with the things they do,” she shared.
Celestine Donkor emphasised that consistency is a key ingredient for success in any field of endeavour.
“Everything that you will do, I believe that you can succeed when you’re consistent with it. You don’t have to quit so quickly and easily,’ she added.
