Ghanaian actress Emelia Brobbey has claimed that her new single, "Nsem Keka," was not intended to throw shades at anyone.

Her comments come in response to allegations from some netizens who claim the song is a diss track aimed at her detractors, who have reignited their feud with her in recent times.

In an interview on Poleeno Multimedia, Emelia stated; "God knows the song is for everyone, and it is not meant to insult or throw shade at anybody, I took inspiration from someone who has been in the music industry for some time now."

A few weeks ago, Emelia Brobbey shared a snippet of "Nsem Keka" on social media, which garnered attention and reignited discussions about an unfortunate theft case involving her and one Akua Agyeiwaa that occurred in the UK in 2013.

Background

Emelia Brobbey released the ‘Nsem Keka’ song around the same time issues about her 2013 theft case in the UK resurfaced on the internet.

Concerns have emerged regarding Emelia's theft ordeal, with some individuals claiming she mistreated a friend who was innocently roped in the incident.

The theft case reportedly led to the wrongful arrest and deportation of Emelia’s innocent friend, Akua Agyeiwaa, who was jailed and sent back to Ghana.

Recently, family members and friends of Akua, still pained by the situation, took to social media to express their feelings of betrayal, alleging that Emelia abandoned her during the arrest.
