Popular Reggae/Dancehall artiste Ras Kuuku has stated that contrary to popular belief, there is no feud between Reggae/Dancehall artistes in the country.
In an interview with MX24, Ras Kuuku recalled that there is no beef between any of them.
He pointed out that such perceptions only exist due to the aggressive nature of the genre but emphasized that the artistes themselves are cool with each other.
“It's one family. When you check the reggae dancehall artistes, we are one. But when you follow the hotness of the genre, you think that we are bad people,” he said.
To buttress his claims, he cited cases where he received endorsements from other Reggae artistes including Stonebwoy and Samini.
“The year I won the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year, Samini, said I deserved it because I worked hard.
“Stonebwoy is a brother. And before he won the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year. I said he was going to win because he deserved it,” he said.
