Soul Singer Efya responded to commentary by music critics and fans alike that her reign as the ‘Voice Queen’ is Ghana is shaky with upcoming act Cina Soul on her heels.

The ‘Forgetting Me‘ crooner told JOY NEWS there is no competition between her and Soul, and that she supports the latter because she didn’t have that coming up.

“I don’t think I have any competition. What I think it is there is a big sky, God made a lot of stars and every night they all shine and that’s what I believe. I love Cina Soul. I put her on my shows because I want to give her the kind of exposure that I didn’t get when I was starting my music career with the kind of music that I was doing,” said Efya.

“And she has a beautiful talent that I think is gonna grow to become amazing and I’m here to support her as much as I can so I don’t think there is any competition. I see it as we’re sisters in the same field. The same way I relate to every male artiste as you know. I’m a girl’s girl.”

Efya is headlining the Girl Talk concert on Friday, December 23rd, 2016 at the National Theatre.
