Veteran musician Akosua Agyapong says she feels she has not been celebrated enough considering her contribution to the entertainment industry.

Speaking to Becky on the E WITH BECKS show on Joy Prime, Akosua Agyapong revealed that despite being internationally recognized, she feels she is not appreciated locally. Perhaps the saying a prophet is not honored in his own home applies to her.

“There should be special awards given to the veterans,” she said.

Her first album was, ‘Frema’ which had inspirational songs like ‘Me Ye Obaa’, which became an instant hit, ‘Born again’, ‘Anan Tuo’, ‘San be Hwe Wo Mba’ among others.

Meanwhile, Akosua Agyapong is currently fighting GHAMRO former executives regarding corruption allegations.
