Keche Joshua, one-half of the Ghanaian music duo Keche, has taken to social media to blast fellow artiste King Paluta for not promoting a song they collaborated on.

The song, titled “My Father” by Keche featuring King Paluta was released in June 2024 and a lyric video on YouTube has amassed about 42,000 views.

In a fiery video posted on X on August 23, 2024, Keche Joshua accused King Paluta of being disrespectful and refusing to promote the song, despite promoting songs with other artistes like Sista Afia, Eno Barony, Tulenkey, and Wendy Shay.

"We did a song with you and you never posted it. I reached out to your team and they said they don’t use his official account to post things. They use the King Paluta Army page rather," Joshua stated.

He further explained that even after multiple prompts, King Paluta only reluctantly made a promotional video, which he never shared or retweeted.

Keche Joshua expressed his shock at the ‘disrespect’ shown towards Keche, a well-established duo, and criticised the attitude of artistes with only one or two hits.

"You got an artiste like Keche and you disrespect us? You made it seem like we were disturbing you so you just did something for us.

“Let nobody come and say there's no love in the industry because these one-hit artistes are very disrespectful," he concluded.
