Tidal Rave 2024: Stonebwoy sends strong message on galamsey with 'Greedy Men' performance

The 2024 edition of Tidal Rave took place on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the La Palm Beach Hotel in Accra.

Many A-list musicians such as R2Bees, Kwesi Arthur, KiDi, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and others performed at the event.

Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall musician Stonebwoy gave a powerful performance when he began to perform one of his most anticipated songs, "Greedy Men".

Stonebwoy and his backing vocalist were all dressed in black attire, and someone on stage was also seen waving the Ghana Flag.

Stonebwoy's song "Greedy Men" addresses how leaders in the country are depleting the country's natural resources through illegal mining (galamsey), cocoa smuggling, over-grazing, deforestation, and how these activities are detrimental to human health.

The song also urges leaders to consider future generations, as these activities can destroy generational wealth and health.
