Established in Denmark as a reggaeton/dancehall artiste, Toby Tabu has successfully made his transition into Afrobeat, dropping several bangers in the process.

Inspired by greats like Daddy Lumba and Afro Moses the young versatile artiste took on this new challenge which saw him relocate to Ghana; some 7,000 km away from home.

The move according to him received some resistance from his label Sony Music who did not understand why he would shun a lucrative music career and venture into the unknown.

However, the comforts of the Danish music industry failed to seduce the tall Dane who longed to make a trip to the continent whose rhythm and beat has reignited a new wave around the world.

Welcomed with a warm reception, endowed women and the best Jollof Toby soon realised he was right to come to Ghana instead of Nigeria thus recording his first single "Ghana Lady" starring Dancehall Bad Girl Ebony. The song he said was to celebrate the culture the people and the vibes that make Ghana unique.

After several media tours and memorable performances, Toby Tabu believes he has definitely made his mark in the industry and looks forward to coming back in December to perform.

This he revealed will be handled by his able team who have guided and counseled him during his 3 months stay. He also premiered his new music video "Nana Yaa" written and directed by him a skill he says will only serve only his close friends in the industry.

With what we've heard from Toby so far I can confidently say this is definitely the beginning of a remarkable career for Toby Tabu the Obroni Rudeboy!
