Trigmatic reveals why every musician should have an album instead of singles

Rapper Trigmatic has explained to Doreen Avio in an interview on why every artiste should make it a point to produce an album instead of putting out multiple singles out there.

Some artists in our modern setup take delight in producing singles than an album, saying they find it more convenient that way. But Trigmatic said contrary to what people say that it’s a waste of time and resources, the album rather help to ‘organize’ their works just like photo albums we have in our homes.

He said:

“No, i don’t think it’s a waste of time and resources to release an album. Albums are very important in the life of every musician; it’s a compilation of your musical works, just like we have photo albums in our homes, music albums are very necessary too.

The challenge here in Ghana is the sales, but i believe if you get the marketing details right, you would surely make money from the album.”

Trigmatic is set to release his fourth studio album titled ‘Eight Element’ in October.
