Our creative arts industry shall be witnessing the prestigious RTP Awards come 5th December, 2013 with the headline artiste being ‘serious’ Abrantie Amakye Dede.

In all his music life, Amakye Dede has always been looking for a big musical platform he can use to say kudos to all broadcasters – radio and television, who have over the years promoted, supported, criticized and made awesome recommendations to him which has brought him where he is today.

In Amakye’s opinion, RTP Awards night is the opportune time and platform he can use to perform and to thank all broadcasters. A specially designed stage craft we scooped concerning this year’s RTP Awards is the face to face ‘clash’ between Amakye Dede and the new King on the block Tutulapatu. Amakye Dede and Tutulapatu are ‘seeriously’ rehearsing and would give a mind-boggling collaborative craft with live band performance.

For the trivia: would it be Tutulapatu singing an Amakye Dede song? Would it be Amakye Dede rapping a Tutulapatu song? Or a blend of rap and singing from Amakye and Tutulapatu to coin “Amatu” music? For the exclusive, make a date with RTP Awards come 5th December, 2013.

RTP Awards comes off on 5th December, 2013 at the Accra International Conference Center AICC at 7:00 pm prompt. Aside Amakye Dede and Tutulapatu, other artistes billed to perform are; Cecilia Marfo, Paapa Yankson, and Herty BornGreat. The ‘seerious’ man promises to give a top-drawer performance to the delight of patrons.
