Drobo (B/A), Jan 21, GNA - The tension that gripped the nation during Election 2008 stirred the emotions of two lunatics who demonstrated, to the amazement of many, that they wanted peace. Two lunatics in Jaman South District, one popularly called 'Crazy' and the other called Kofi Araba who loves wandering in the market at Drobo, capital of the district, surprised residents when they decided not to be left out in the national quest for free, fair and peaceful elections.

On January 01 when the nation was focused on next day's presidential run-off in the Tain constituency, residents of Drobo witnessed a rare spectacle when 'Crazy' trekked to the market at Drobo to meet Kofi Araba.

The two chatted for sometime and took off for Crazy's 'humble abode' at Kwasibourkrom.

They took off their dirty clothes, washed down and put on new ones given to them by a second hand cloth dealer. Locked in arms they roamed the main streets of Kwasibourkrom through Japekrom and Drobo singing.

A young man asked them why they were doing that and their response in Twi was "Abatoo (elections).Abatoo (elections)..Asomdwee (Peace). Asomdwee (Peace)."
