Tema, April 24, GNA- Two shoeshine boys and a carpenter, charged with possessing Indian hemp have been remanded by the Tema circuit court "B". The pleas of George Sasraku, the carpenter, 18, Kwaku Owusu and Yaw Ansah, each aged 20, were not taken and will reappear on April 29. Police Chief Inspector Alice Gyamfi told the court that on April 14, 2004, police had information that the accused persons were selling and smoking Indian hemp at community 18.

The pleas of George Sasraku, the carpenter, 18, Kwaku Owusu and Yaw Ansah, each aged 20, were not taken and will reappear on April 29. Police Chief Inspector Alice Gyamfi told the court that on April 14, 2004, police had information that the accused persons were selling and smoking Indian hemp at community 18. She said the police went to the scene and met the three accused persons and when they were searched, they found 92 wrappers of dried leaves, suspected to be Indian hemp on them.
