New York, USA

Dynamic and Talented US based gospel music artiste; Adwoa Frimpong recently

launched her debut CD in the Bronx, NY entited; "Ye dan wo" which is worth

having a copy. Gospel music fans would like to know more about her so she

tells her story. Read on??.;

My name is Adwoa Frempong and I?m a budding star who has been in the

background for a long time. I have for over the years been singing with the

Voices of Inspiration, the choir of Resurrection Power & Living Bread

Ministries in the Bronx, New York.

My debut album entitled ?Ye Dan Wo? was launched on August 29, 2009. The

goal of this album is to remind Christians all over the world to depend and

rely solely on Christ. In spite of the hardships that we go through, it will

only take the intervention of Christ to see us through and therefore,

whatever your problem is, I believe when you listen to this album, you will

definitely have a sense of relief.

I was born in Ghana, West Africa to wonderful parents and grew up in a large

family of which singing happened to be a God given gift. My grandmother was

so talented that after every preaching section, she came up with a song and

this gift trickled down to my mother. She was part of the Presbyterian

Church Choir. As a child, I was so interested in music that my father

usually played gospel music for me from morning till sun down. I followed my

mother to choir rehearsals and by the time we returned, I could literally

sing all the songs that was taught at the rehearsals. My grandmother used to

sing to me and tell me the stories behind some of the songs and this was

embedded in my heart and mind as I grew up. It is not surprising to see me

come out in God?s own appointed time with such a beautiful and uplifting

album because the bible says, ?train up a child in the way he/she should go

and when he/she is grown, he/she will never depart from it.?

I completed Secondary School in Ghana and after attending Effia Nkwanta

Nursing School for a year, I left for the United States of America in 1995.

I gained employment with Sheraton Hotels of New York where I?ve been working

for the past 10 years. God has blessed me with two wonderful children

Franklin Eson-Benjamin Jnr. and Anita Eson-Benjamin.

I have been through the ups and downs of life and by the mercies of God I am

still here. Most people know me at work as the happy lady because I?m always

singing and in church also I?m known to be a dancer, but one thing people do

not know is that, I dance and sing my way out of my problems. God used these

songs to minister to me and when the right time came I recorded them.
