It is rare to see someone throw away his or her hard earned certificates to become a photographer 'photoo' especially in our part of the world. But for the duo, it is all about passion and nothing else.

Meet the popular twin celebrity photographers, Twins Don't Beg, the duo who lived all their lives on the campus of KNUST in Kumasi who are changing the face of photography from what we've seen to a more appreciable and a more appealing one and this has certainly been marked by many with earnest entreaty.

According to them, they feel celebrities put in a lot of efforts to look good and without anything to show or appreciate their works, they thought it wise to change the narrative about celebrities and their lifestyle and this has to a large extent brought most personalities a lot more closer to their fans.

Emmanuel and Samuel Appiah Gyan are both graduates from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) with a degree in post Harvest Technology(Samuel) and Landscape Architecture(Emmanuel) who at the drop of a hat never saw it as an arduous task to abandon their certificates to follow their passion.

The Swag of Africa duo, told Niilantei.com they attained recognition through hardwork and perseverance and not through longstanding goodwill as thought by many.

"Our late father was a driver and our mum had a container shop selling petty groceries, we worked our way to the top through hard work, we didn't know anybody it's just by the grace of God," they said

Samuel and Emmanuel have won several awards including the best Nightlife Photographers of the year at the Nightlife Awards and Emmanuel is currently the official photographer and social media manager for Mrs Samira Bawumia, the wife of the Vice President of Ghana.

The duo, not only have they worked with celebrities but has worked with high profile personalities and events, including the President of Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo, Nana Ama McBrown, Becca, Efya, Akosua Vee, DKB, the Ghana Music Awards 2017, Ghana Meet Naija, Miss Malaika 2017 beauty pageant and a whole lot more.

For them, attaining a global recognition, helping others to become better and also the joy of seeing their family become better is one thing that drives them to succeed and for them, they will not knuckle under anything until they achieve their acme goal.
