The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma West Constituency of the Greater Accra region, Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has not given up hopes of bearing a second child for her husband.

The lawmaker who is also Communications Minister, is hopeful that even at age 53 she could bear a child for her husband Dr. Samuel Owusu Ekuful, UK-based Ghanaian Ophthalmologist.

Madam Ursula Owusu-Ekuful married Dr. Samuel Owusu Ekuful in 2013 in an extremely private ceremony at her East Legon residence.

The Outspoken Lawyer and Politician who already has an 18-year old son, said it is her hope to bear children for her husband she so much cherish and adores.

On UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ last Friday, she revealed that she was willing to go through labour and its attendant challenges amidst her busy work schedule to have a second child despite being referred to as a mother of many for her role in taking care of several other children in her constituency.

“I am a mother to so many children but biologically I have only one son. I crave to have my second child. I have to give my husband a child” she said.
