VGMA Rapper of the year snub a clarion call for hard work – Yaa Pono

Rapper Yaa Pono has said he is not perturbed by the snob by the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards category for Rapper of the year.

According to him, being unable to earn nomination for the category means he needs to work harder than he used to do before in order to produce good songs for the consumption of Ghanaians.

Artistes nominated for the category of Rapper of the year includes Eno Barony – Fear No Man, TeePhlow – Phlowducation, Sarkodie – Light It Up, Shaker – Pen & Paper, Kojo Cue – Pen & Paper, Strongman – Transformer.

Yaa Pono who made this known during an interview on Accra-based 3 FM mentioned that he had the best time of his life last year because he performed at 300 events making him the artiste who performed at numerous events in the country.

The Rapper Indicated that most of the gigs he got last year were as a result of “Gbee Nabu” a diss song for Shatta Wale.
