Antwi Ne Antwi on stage The Easter Festival was celebrated in a grand style over the week in all corners of Ghana. We heard of programmes lined up for the Easter week and Ghana Music.Com brings you an exclusive insight on what happened in Accra at the Labadi Beach.

All roads were not only leading to Kwahu this time round, it also led to Labadi for the Coca-Cola Beach Jam. The show which commenced around 12:30pm started with free give away of Coca-Cola footballs and T-Shirts by the MCs for the day who were Bola Ray, DJ Black doing the mixing, Stacy and Ice Baby. DJ Black of Joy FM dished out good tunes for five people out of the crowd to dance on stage for some hampers from Coca-Cola and to ginger people up for the show.

The real show started when Antwi ne Antwi landed on stage. They sang ?Sekina? and ?Uncle Ebo? and how the crowd sang their songs back was amazing. Next on the bill was ?Ghana?s Hipdia man? Sony Achiba who wanted to take the crowd to India. ?Yenko ne India anaa yenko ne Ghana? was what he said to his delighted fans. His choreography work was exquisitely done by him and his dancers. After his performance, I would say he really took the merry-makers who watched him perform to India because he did a lot of Indian stuff.

Paa T and his Spider crew also came in for twenty minutes and danced freestyles with some magnificent styles that dazzled the crowd and in return the crowd applauded them for such a wonderful performance. Nkasei came up next with a new style of dressing and a masterpiece ?intro? formation dance. They really entertained the crowd with three songs from their current album. There were excited shouts from the crowd when the Mapuka dancers from Cote D?Ivoire came and wiggled their bodies like jelly.

You can guess for yourself when VIP came on stage, the ?Praa?s? that came from the crowd and the whole Nima and Maamobi crew that represented for VIP. They did old songs like ?Daben na Odo Ba?, and new ones from the Ahomka Womu album; Besin, Sisi Na Adie Wom and all mighty Ahomka Womu and their stage dance was great.

Kokovelli and K.K. Fosu came on stage without Batman but also did well, singing Suudwe and Zaa Zaa to the enjoyment of the crowd. Nigerian man ?Alariwo? came up next and performed for an hour since he was the guest artiste of the show.

Kudos to Vintage Vision Ltd and Coca-Cola Company Ltd. They promised mouth-watering packages, pure fun, excitement and entertainment and that?s what they gave to the people who patronised the show. We only hope that next time, their sound quality will be better if not the best.
