Tommorrow, the foundations of Korle-Gonno and its environs will rock, as the most wanted hiplife group in the country, Vision In Progress aka VIP, entertains music fans at the Korle-Gonno Beach resort.
The event is to round off activities marking this year’s Homowo festival, which brings together the natives of the area to celebrate the annual event.
The show is being organised by Tema based Adom FM and is expected to draw one of the biggest crowds ever to that part of the capital.
VIP is certainly not the only musical group billed to entertain the festival fan; other popular musicians will take their turn to treat patrons to popular tunes from their repertoire.
The guys ‘babe’, Mzbel, whose live performances across the country at every important show has brought life back to the depressed, is also scheduled to feature at this Homowo beach jam.
Other top artistes expected to feature are Castro, Praye, Abrewanana, Sidney, Nkasei and 4x4. it is also expected that other hiplife stars, who have performed at such functions since the Homowo festivities took off throughout the Greater Accra Region, will make their appearance. With such an attractive line-up, patrons should expect a day of total fun and excitement.
At the time of our visit to the area, ground works indicated that festival-stricken music fans were all bracing for the big event, which is expected to run into the deep night.
