According to Chief Superintendent Botchwey, Baah's vehicle first grazed a taxi cab before running into Madam Cobbah, gushing out her intestines and killing her instantly, but those inside the shop escaped unhurt. He said Madam Cobbah was rushed to the district hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. Her body has been deposited at the hospital morgue for autopsy, while the driver is in police custody.
