Veteran actor battles kidney failure, Juliet Ibrahim to the rescue

Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim went to the aid of Ghanaian veteran actor, Mr Odoi Mensah who happens to be battling with kidney failure.

The beautiful actress, through her Juliet Ibrahim Foundation created to educate the public on kidney problems and to support them financially, donated some amount of money to the actor.

Mr Odoi Mensah, a veteran actor in Ghana has been suffering from kidney failure for a very long time and needed help to support his hospital bills which costs 100 USD per dialysis, 3 times a week.

He expressed profound gratitude to Juliet with the great mindset of using her foundation to create kidney awareness and give them support.

She uploaded a short video of her donation to Mr Odoi Mensah on Instagram with the caption: "My last donation to veteran actor Nii Odoi Mensah who is now a chronic kidney failure patient. He is in need of your help he has lost both kidneys. He has been going through this all alone till he realized he alone can't be able to pay his hospital bills which cost per dialysis 100 usd 3 times a week for the rest of his life. Both @tommy__cann and Mr Odoi Mensah are patients of www.julietibrahimfoundation.org #kidneyawareness it can happen to anybody prevention is better than cure friends”.

Juliet Ibrahim who has a passion to help people also re-posted pictures of another kidney patient, Tommy Cann, receiving his dialysis to increase the awareness creation of the kidney disease adding: "its real and can happen to anyone irrespective of age, gender or status".

Repost from @tommy__cann cases of kidney failure or disease is on the ascendancy...everyone is at risk ..it doesnt matter your age, status in life or whatever..all must be cautious...join in the campaign.. we need government to immediately introduce a subsidy on dialysis and treatments for people living with kidney disease. the cost is just too much and as a result people are loosing their relatives. very sad.....this a photo of me having dialysis now
