Radio and television personality, Sammy Flex is convinced Vicky Zugah’s decision not to hold back but open up on her experience with abusive boyfriends, naming them in the process, has taken the attention from the actress’ campaign against domestic violence.
The mother of two has been making headlines after she revealed that every man she has dated for the past four years laid their hands on her on countless occasions, leaving bruises on her face, abrantepa.com can state.
Having dated a tall list of people, most of them being showbiz personalities, and in an attempt to save the image of the ‘innocent ones’, Vicky Zugah named DJ Cash, Leo Mensah aka Ntoatoahene and Sierra Leonean representative for Big Brother Africa – The Chase, Adrian Bolt Lewis as boyfriends who abused her.
“Yes! DJ Cash abused me, Leo Mensah abused and Bolt was the worst of all” she reportedly said on Okay FM adding, that she never reported the cases nor went public because family and friends have for years prevailed on her not to.
But Sammy Flex speaking on 3FM’s Showbiz 927 said Vicky Zugah could have gone ahead with her domestic violence campaign without calling out names.
He told Nana Kwadwo Addo, host of the show, that the actress erred in detailing issues of her past relationships.
“…unfortunately for her, she starts with naming [people who abused her at the time they were dating]. It was unnecessary. Madam, go ahead, tell the people that ‘I’ve been a victim but now it’s over. I just want to encourage my females to know that this is how it’s supposed to be done.’ Are you aware that because of the names she brought in that conversation, the whole project is shifted?” he noted.

Offering counsel to Vicky Zugah, Sammy Flex said it would of much importance if the actress stops commenting about her past abusive relationships.
“She should stop talking about the past issues and focus on the project. She can even get NGOs to support her. If she goes around telling people how Leo Mensah beat her, how Coded beat you, you are telling me that you are not even worth any investment. Please the talking is too much.
Meanwhile, Leo Mensah who was named as one of the abusers says Vicky Zugah is only making the claims for attention.
