Victoria Michaels wins Best New Actress Award

Top Model Victoria Michaels has made yet another bold stride into the entertainment industry.

Over the weekend, she was honored with the Best New Actress from Ghana at City People Entertainment Awards, held in Lagos Nigeria.

She was nominated for that category alongside Songstress Becca, Afro Pop crooner Wiyalaa and Jessica Williams.

Victoria Michaels was awarded for her role in the highly rated movie Any Other Monday.

Speaking after the event, the organizers of the award was full of praise for the super models sterling performances and originality in both movie and TV projects she has been involved with in the last few years.

Her debut performance as a lead character alongside veteran Actor Kofi Adjorlolo in the well scripted "Office Palaver" a series that landed her the best TV Series Actress nomination at the prestigious Ghana Movie Awards came as a pleasant surprise to the industry.

Speaking at the ceremony, Victoria Michaels had this to say "I am honored and elated to have been chosen as the winner in a category with an array of stellar cast talents as nominees''.

She went on to recount on how she tried very hard to avoid acting for so many years and to think that she is now been rewarded after just two projects is something to be thankful for. Congratulations to Victoria Michaels.
