A significant number of African ladies love to rock African prints with some completing the look by matching the dress with a beautiful head wrap/gear also called ‘Gele’.

Gele is a Yoruba term for a woman's head wrap. It is a piece of clothing which comes in different colours and can be worn as a simple scarf-like head-tie or bandana or tied as the arched train of a peacock.

The wearing of Gele by most African ladies especially Nigerian women has now come stay. An increasing number of Ghanaian women have also taken to the wearing of the head gear to compliment local outfits.
