The Kasapreko Africa Legends Night at the State Banquet Hall over the weekend will remain as one of the highlights of 2012, when Hugh Masekela performed.
The ‘Old Pa’ as Hugh is fondly called now, wasn’t alone on that night to thrill the audience as the likes of Zozo from New Zealand, Steve Bedi, YaaYaa, Lady May from Namibia and Ben Brako, were all on ground to do what they know how to do best.
There were lots of significant moments of the night but the one that caught the fancy of the hall was when Ben Brako’s rhythm drew the former president and his wife out to dance.
Papa J couldn’t help but to show off his skills as well as Nana Konadu who didn’t slack in giving her best. The night wasn’t any kind of contest but fun as the cheers from the audience spurred the former first couples to give more.
