After forty years of doing what he knows how to do best, Abrantie Amakye Dede’s performance at the Africa Legends Night concert held at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Accra last Saturday will be remembered as the best put up by any artiste this year.
The ‘serious’ crooner swept the audience off their feet with his stagecraft and exceptional style of delivery.
He threw all his skills onto the stage as he performed before business tycoons, music fans as well as people from all walks of life.
Though he wasn’t the headliner of the show, yet his artistry sent the fans into frenzy when he performed some of his chart toppers which have ran premium for over four decades and still counting.
Other artistes who thrilled the fans apart from Amakye Dede and Femi Kuti were, Ben Brako, George Darko, Trigmatic and Ofie Kudjoe.
The event, which was organized by Kasapreko Company Limited, attracted thousands of music fans from all walks of life who turned up to reunite with old pals and reminisce about ‘the good old days’.
